Subject: Canada...

On Wednesday night I watched Thunder on TBS, a knock-off of WWF Rampage. At the moment I tuned in a man was leaning over a very large belt and covering the main metal section with a sticker of the Canadian flag.

THE COMMENTATORS: He's putting the Canadian flag on the belt! . . . Can you believe it . . . He holds the belt aloft and it must be amazing for him, to have come all this way and be champion of the [insert whatever league it was here] what's this? . . . He's calling for a fan. He wants a fan to come into the ring.

CROWD: Booooooo boooo

COMMENTATORS: And here comes a fan now. He's getting a microphone. What's he going to say?

CANADIAN WRESTLER: I want to thank the fans. As a champion I understand that fans deserve RESPECT. This woman . . . is a fan. And I respect her.

CROWD: BOooooo, boooooo

CANADIAN WRESTLER: I give her my respect. It is not her fault that she dresses poorly because she lives in a nation that does not allow her a decent minimum wage and forces her to live in sub-standard housing. It is not her fault that she has no access to health care...

COMMENTATORS: What's this? [Insert wrestler's name here. He wore jeans and muscles] is coming into the ring, and he's taking [the Canadian wrestler out]

CROWD: Hooray!

COMMENTATORS: He insulted America. He insulted the fan. And, with the canadian flag, he DESECRATED the belt

[Canadian wrestler lies face down in ring unconscious while three-way sparring match involving wrestler in jeans and muscles takes place around his ears.

COMMENTATORS: he got what was coming to him.
